The Opportunity

We're looking for a compassionate Part-Time Optometrist to support our mobile care operations in Las Cruces, NM , and surrounding areas. This is a highly flexible, low-frequency role—perfect for a provider wanting extra income, a change of pace from traditional practice, or meaningful work that gives back.

No admin. No practice overhead. No fuss.

Just patient care.

CMC provides all equipment, supplies, scheduling, transportation planning, and billing support. You show up, make an impact, and head home.

What You'll Do

Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision evaluations

Diagnose and manage common ocular conditions

Prescribe corrective lenses

Educate patients and facility staff on preventive and routine eye care

Deliver warm, respectful care tailored to geriatric populations

What Makes This Role Unique

Low frequency : Just 1–2 visits per month

Work-life balance : Predictable weekday schedule (approx. 8 : 30 AM – 4 : 30 PM)

What We're Looking For

Doctor of Optometry (OD) with active New Mexico license

Experience with geriatric populations or mobile care a plus

Strong communication and bedside manner
