Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Neurosurgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals / Kings County . Kings County Hospital operates a world-renowned Level I Trauma Center, one of only three in Brooklyn, which serves 2.6 million residents of Brooklyn and Staten Island.

Opportunity Details :

Provide comprehensive medical care, including on-site coverage in the Operating Room, Emergency Room, Patient Wards, and Clinic

Deliverdirect patient care with a focus on quality and outcomes

• Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to staff and members ofthe neurosurgical team
• Participate in weekly staff conferences, including Grand Rounds, Quality Assurance meetings, M&M conferences, and other departmental meetings
• Ensure the timely and accurate completion of Medical Records, Operative Dictation Reports, and Quality Improvement documentation
• Contribute to the maintenance of high-performance standards for physicians and other professional staff within the service
• Perform related workas assigned or directedby the Chief of Service
• Attend Director of Service meetings, Critical Care meetings, and other relevant departmental discussions
• Provide coverage for theNeurosurgery Clinic as required
• Oversee and manage all research initiatives within the department

Qualifications

Wages and Benefits include :

Annual Base Salary : $425,000

The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $525,000

Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional / per diem hours worked per week is $65,000.

401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits) :

Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.

Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.

Medical Malpractice Coverage (equivalent to occurrence-based) : Provided at no cost to the employee.
