Overview :

Sentara Norfolk General, located in Norfolk, Virginia, is hiring a Neurodiagnostic Technologist to join our team!

SHIFT : Full-Time : call required

POSITION OVERVIEW :

Performs a wide variety of neurophysiological diagnostic studies in the laboratory, intra-operatively and in the intensive care settings; operates and performs preventative maintenance on complex monitoring instruments; documents all acquired data for interpretation; ensures tests performed are properly ordered, charged and reported; makes independent assessments that may indicate urgent medical interaction.

Travel to other area hospitals is required, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :

License and Certification

Basic Life Support

Experience

1 Year of experience as a Neurodiagnostic Tech or;

1 year of experience is waived for new graduates of an accredited EEG Program.
