Key Responsibilities :

  • Data Modeling for Financial Services platform.
  • Create Logical and Physical Data Models based on data in existing systems and new business requirements
  • Enhance the Canonical Data Model for the Enterprise
  • Work with the development teams in deploying and populating the physical data model
  • Provide direction and support for the data consumption services
  • Implement the data model enhancements
  • Work with various development teams to provide an understanding of the data and the data model
  • Qualifications :
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required, advanced degree is preferred.
  • Fifteen (15+) years of data modeling, database design and development or related experience is required.
  • Experience in the Securities or Financial Services industry.
  • Required Qualifications : (Most important to least)
  • Experience modeling Financial data
  • Good knowledge of Financial Accounts, Transactions and Positions data
  • Hands-on experience with any RDBMS, preferably MS SQL Server or Oracle
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good Problem Solving & Analytical Skills
  • Work experience in Financial Services

Preferred Qualifications : (Most important to least)

  • Experience writing ANSI SQL code
  • Experience with a scripting language, preferably Python
  • Experience working with Cloud native databases
