Job Summary :

We are seeking an intermediate-level technical professional with strong 3D modeling and CAD design experience, combined with hands-on machining skills. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in machine design, manufacturing processes, and maintenance, along with welding capabilities and project management experience. This role requires excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and supporting project execution.

Key Responsibilities :

• Create and modify 3D models and technical drawings using CAD software.
• Operate and maintain machining equipment, including mills and lathes.
• Assist in machine design and development for manufacturing applications.
• Perform welding and maintenance tasks as needed to support production.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding project requirements and updates.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives within manufacturing processes.

Required Qualifications :

Minimum of an Associate's Degree in a technical field (Mechanical, Manufacturing, or related).

Significant experience in 3D modeling / CAD design.

Hands-on machining experience (mills, lathes, etc.).

Knowledge of machine design and manufacturing principles.

Preferred Skills & Experience :

Welding and maintenance experience.

Project management experience, including customer communication.

Familiarity with manufacturing environments and continuous improvement practices.

This is a Contract position based out of Morristown, TN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $44.00 / hr.
