Apollo Technical has an immediate need for a AutoCAD drafter in the Miami FL area
This is a long term position with busy company
Overview :
The job description includes the preparation of engineering drawings, including modifications to ongoing projects that support the senior project manager responsible for the design.
Work will involve reviewing changes with the senior project manager and / or receiving instructions for initiating new projects. It will also require acquiring information from team consultants working for other parties on the project, such as architects, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineers, as necessary.
Additionally, it may involve coordinating and discussing with the owner's representative, providing details on the owner's desires for the component we have been engaged to design. Additional scope will require the ability to review comments from the building department and provide written responses.
Skills Required
- 2-3 years+ AutoCAD experience
- Experienced CAD operator with a background in MEP mechanical, plumbing, and some architectural drawing skills.
- Other necessary skills include coordination and communication, requiring the candidate to be fully engaged in the ability to communicate with others.
- Bilingual individuals are a plus, although not mandatory.
- Having experience in designing fountains, swimming pools, and other similar water features is a big plus.
