About the Role :
The Mechanical position at our Tonawanda location within the Facilities Managment industry is focused on ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of mechanical systems and components. This role involves diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical equipment to support production and operational efficiency. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement effective solutions. A key outcome of this role is to minimize downtime and enhance the longevity of mechanical assets through proactive maintenance and timely interventions. Ultimately, this position contributes to delivering high-quality products and services by maintaining the mechanical integrity of the facility's equipment.
Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent with completion of a mechanical apprenticeship or technical training program.
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and related tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and technical manuals.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and adherence to established safety procedures.
