Company Description

: H.J. Martin and Son is a diversified construction company specializing in commercial and residential flooring, glass and glazing, walls and ceilings, commercial doors and hardware, and millwork and fixture installation.

Position Description : The position will work closely with the VP of Communication & Administration on advertising, public relations, communications, social media, collateral / signage, event planning, and creative pertaining to H.J. Martin and Son divisions and surrounding companies.

Marketing Specialist Principal Responsibilities :

• Manage all company brands and implement brand standards for documents and communications.
• Plan and execute company events.
• Create and develop visual assets for advertising, promotion, and online presence.
• Manage printing projects for internal collateral and for client projects.
• Contribute to social media strategy and execution for multiple companies, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.
• Interact with customers professionally via company social media accounts.
• Analyze social media statistics and create direction for the company’s social media marketing plan / strategy to continuously improve.
• Research current and emerging trends to implement into marketing strategy.
• Write and distribute company press releases, blogs, and case studies.
• Manage photography assets and organize photo shoots.
• Work closely with the marketing team on special projects.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with excellent time management skills.
• Manage needs of clients for the Martin Communications agency, managed by the H.J. Martin and Son Marketing Department.

Other Duties As Assigned : Performs other related duties as assigned including supporting team members in the completion of their work for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the business.
