Role Summary

Manages a team of pricing leaders which provides professional guidance and expertise to key business partners. Manager of pricing and / or sales variance processes overall pricing strategy pricing systems and personnel management.

What You Will Do :

• Manages and supervises pricing leaders that support price activities including price generation process improvements and pricing operations and strategy.
• Consults with senior leaders on key pricing metrics including sales variance forecast profit impact and proposed pricing actions.
• Manages pricing procedures and compliance while ensuring timely response to market business partners and market conditions.
• Oversees the end-to-end operation and administration of the competitive pricing system and strategies.

What You Will Bring / Skills :

Customer Focus : Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking : Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Effective Communications : Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Relationship Management : Knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients vendors and peers.

Strategic Thinking : Knowledge of the importance of big picture thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization.

Benefits : This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillars long-term incentive plan.

Summary Pay Range :

$199680.00 - $299520.00
