We are seeking a candidate to teach ENG102, "Introduction to Literary Studies," and ENG 316, "World Literature : 18th Century to the Present," during the Spring 2026 semester (Jan 20-May 1).
In compliance with Massachusetts pay transparency law, the pay range for this position is $4,700 per course. This range reflects base pay only and does not include other potential compensation or benefits.
The instructor will be required to...
- be aware of and abide by Endicott's academic policies
- use the course description and honor the learning outcomes of the course.
- deliver the courses in person.
- use Canvas as the course's learning management system.
- meet deadlines for roster verification and submission of grades.
- meet with students if they request assistance or need clarification for any course-related matter.
- communicate with the Associate Dean for Communication & Humanities if and when issues arise concerning the teaching of the course, and with the Dean of Social Sciences, Communication, and Humanities about other matters.
- if requested, provide samples of student work that may be used for assessment purposes.
- use their Endicott email address when communicating with students.
