The Electronics Intern role involves designing, prototyping, and testing electronic systems for advanced robotics, including PCB design, sensor integration, and control architecture development. This hands-on position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multidisciplinary engineering team and gain practical experience in building and troubleshooting robotic hardware in a fast-paced startup environment.
About Anyware Robotics
Anyware Robotics deploys multi-purpose mobile robots, equipped with physical AI, to safely and autonomously handle strenuous and repetitive operational tasks.Pixmo, the company's robot, is designed to autonomously handle boxes for trailer unloading, palletizing, case picking, and trailer loading. Pixmo is powered by AnywareOS, a physical AI software that enables advanced perception and object handling in dynamic, unstructured environments.Pixmo's combination of intelligent software and flexible hardware helps distribution centers and 3PLs reduce labor costs, enhance worker safety, and maintain productivity during labor shortages to deliver a clear return on investment (ROI).We're a small team with big goals, building robots that make work safer and smarter. If you like solving real problems, deploying robots into production, and seeing your ideas come to life, you'll fit right in.
Description
As Electronics Intern, you will work with a team of innovative engineers from various high-tech industries to prototype robotic systems. You will have the opportunity to apply your expertise in electrical, electronics, embedded and communication sub-systems to design, prototype, test, and deliver features for our advanced generation of robots. You will also work on integrating sensors, actuators, and control systems to shape our robotic technology. This is a hands-on internship that will provide you with valuable experience in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic start-up environment.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborating with a team of like-minded innovators to prototype robotic systems.
- Designing, assembling, and testing custom PCBAs, inclusive of prototyping, integration with the robot and debugging as per requirements.
- Working on selection and integration of AC - DC converters, DC - DC converters, suitable motors and motor drives following technical requirements of the robot.
- Designing schematics for control architecture involving PLC. Further, implement the same in robots through integration of hardware and development of firmware.
- Working with PLC or microcontrollers for quick proof of concept testing.
- Diving into the world of sensors, actuators, and control systems to develop and troubleshoot our robots.
- Investigating and troubleshooting issues in the robot. Develop solutions as well as documentation to reduce potential failures in future.
- Sharing your knowledge and skills with your teammates, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and growth.
