This role ensures a positive workplace culture that supports high levels of service and employee engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Staffing
Collaborate with senior teams to develop and publish job postings.
Employee Relations & Engagement
Serve as the first point of contact for employee concerns, resolving issues promptly alongside senior team.
Foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture aligned with company values.
Training & Development
Oversee online onboarding to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
Coordinate training, compliance, and professional development efforts alongside senior team.
Maintain and update employee handbook.
Compensation, Benefits, Compliance, and Risk Management
Administer payroll, benefits programs, and open enrollment.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
Maintain employee records and HR documentation in accordance with regulations.
Proactively identify potential HR and payroll risks and implement strategies to minimize organizational exposure.
Performance Management
Provide coaching and support to supervisors on leadership and employee management.
Track and analyze HR metrics (turnover, retention, overtime, certification / training completion, etc.).
Qualifications
5+ years of HR management experience, ideally within the hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws
Excellent communication and people skills with the ability to interact across all levels of staff.
Must have worked as the sole HR practitioner.
Proven ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.
Basic knowledge of GL accounting concepts and processes to create journal entries.
Software systems knowledge to streamline responsibilities.
Intermediate Excel skills (ie vlookups, index and match, etc)
Desire to create efficiencies and add-value
Hospitality mindset with a passion for employee satisfaction.

Salary : $100,000-$115,000 base, based on experience
