We are looking for an experienced HR Director to lead and oversee all aspects of human resources within our organization, based in Boston, Massachusetts. This role requires a strategic thinker who can manage a wide range of HR functions, from recruitment and employee relations to compliance and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership and a deep understanding of HR best practices.
Responsibilities :
Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization’s goals and objectives.
Oversee the full recruitment process, including onboarding and orientation for new hires.
Manage employee relations by addressing grievances, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring open communication.
Design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
Ensure compliance with all labor laws and HR regulations, maintaining up-to-date policies and procedures.
Lead training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and career growth opportunities.
Monitor and manage performance review processes, providing guidance to managers and employees.
Collaborate with leadership to create a culture that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Provide strategic counsel to senior management on HR-related matters.
Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR functions.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
At least 7–10 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 4 years in a leadership role.
Comprehensive knowledge of HR functions, including recruitment, training, performance management, employee relations, and compliance.
Certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP) is preferred.
Experience in the non-profit or human services sector is a plus.
Strong expertise in employee relations, compensation and benefits, and HR compliance.
Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and guide teams.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a dynamic environment.
