We are a small physician-owned clinic in Palmdale looking for a patient-centered family medicine physician for a part-time 1099 role (at least 8 hours per week on site with one hour of admin time and lunch from 12-1pm, but the one hour of admin time can be done at home, total of 8 paid hours). Will also need to be available to cover very, very light telephone-only call (from the PAs on site) when the other two physicians are on vacation, to be paid at $1000 per week for that availability. Possibility of converting to full-time role with a flexible schedule.
The clinic is open Mon-Fri 8-5pm, looking for this role to be here on-site on Fridays. You will have one hour for new patients and either 20 min or 40 min for follow-up, depending on what you determine the patient needs. We use eClinicalWorks for the EMR and if not familiar you will be fully trained to use it.
