A leading health system based in central Indiana is now seeking an experienced Nurse Manager Surgical Services to join their award-winning healthcare team!

Discover a regional leading orthopedic specialty hospital in Central Indiana delivering comprehensive musculoskeletal care, including joint replacement and revision surgery, spine care, sports medicine, hand, foot and ankle, fracture care, pain management, advanced imaging, outpatient surgery, and on-site physical therapy. This physician-led, mid-sized facility features state-of-the-art operating rooms, minimally invasive technology, and private inpatient suites designed for comfort and rapid recovery. Staffed by board-certified orthopedic surgeons and a collaborative care team, it is nationally recognized for patient safety, satisfaction, and surgical outcomes, earning multiple industry accolades and rigorous accreditation.

Reporting to the Center Administrator, the Nurse Manager Surgical Services will oversee the clinical and administrative operations of a multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center housing four (4) operating rooms, one (1) procedure room, and 17 pre and post bays. Daily responsibilities include overseeing staff scheduling and patient assignments, coordinating surgeon block time and case flow, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, championing patient safety and quality improvement, partnering with multidisciplinary care teams, managing budgets, conducting daily huddles, facilitating onboarding and ongoing staff education, analyzing metrics and documentation in the EHR, and standardizing evidence-based policies to elevate patient experience and surgical outcomes.

What's Needed to Succeed :

  • Degree from an accredited Nursing program
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse RN in the state of Indiana or ability to obtain upon hire
  • Proven clinical leadership experience in a surgical setting
