Overview

Heads Methodist Respiratory Care and Call Center staff to ensure quality patient outcomes, efficient cost-effective delivery of care, patient / family / physician satisfaction, and employee competence, retention and satisfaction.

Qualifications

Certifications :

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and
• Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) - within 6 months of hire and
• Neonatal / Pediatric Specialty (RRT-NPS) - within 6 months and
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - within 30 days and

Education :

In a CoARC approved Respiratory Care Program

Work Experience :

Responsibilities

Plans, coordinates and evaluates day-to-day departmental activities to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Monitors unit accounts for variances to budget and flexible targets

Identifies, implements, and monitors quality of patient care services via the quality improvement process

Interacts with staff, physicians, patients and families, and intradepartmental to ensure customer satisfaction

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $42.72per hour - $73.48per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
