A company is looking for a GIS Developer I.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain custom GIS applications using Esri ArcGIS APIs, Python, and JavaScript frameworks

Develop and maintain automated geospatial data workflows and create / manage spatial databases

Collaborate with GIS analysts and project managers to translate user requirements into scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Computer Science, Environmental Science, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus)

3-6 years of hands-on GIS development experience, focusing on Esri technologies

Proficiency with Python, especially for geoprocessing with ArcPy or automation scripts

Experience with web development frameworks such as JavaScript, HTML / CSS, React, or Angular

Familiarity with geospatial database design and SQL query optimization
