A company is looking for a GIS Technician - Independent Contractor.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop accurate project maps and plat maps using the ArcGIS platform
Import CAD drawing files and analyze project maps for accuracy
Prepare project maps showing features, impacted properties, and conduct quality control reviews
Required Qualifications :
At least one year of experience with the ArcGIS platform and mapping property descriptions
Availability for 20 to 40 hours monthly
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of working in real-world coordinates and projections
Familiarity with surveying techniques is a plus
