Investigate discrepancies and resolve any issues related to account balances. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow statements. Provide detailed reports for management and help ensure accurate and timely reporting. Report employee hours to Payroll processor Ensure the company complies with financial regulations and tax laws. Prepare and file necessary tax documents (e.g., sales tax). Coordinate with external accountants or auditors for year-end reviews and audits. Monitor outstanding customer invoices and follow up on overdue payments. Review and process supplier invoices and payments. Maintain organized and accurate filing systems for all financial documentation. Ensured records were stored in compliance with legal and company policies. Assist with budgeting and forecasting as needed. Responding to inquiries related to financial transactions and account balances. Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting, preferably in a similar industry. Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks or similar) is required. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations. Paying attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping. Strong organizational and time management skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.) and accounting software. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information. Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Office environment or remote work, depending on company policy. Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods (e.g., month-end closing, year-end closing ) Flexibility to work with different departments and external vendors or clients. This role includes managing day-to-day financial transactions, reconciling accounts, reporting hours to payroll processor, and assisting in financial reporting tasks.
