Studio Three is seeking an inspiring and driven Fitness Manager to lead our high- performing Talent Team at our Austin, Texas location. It's critical that this person is a proven leader , passionate instructor , and community builder ready to elevate others while delivering unforgettable S3 branded experiences.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
The responsibilities and duties of this position described here are representative of those an employee must perform. This is not a comprehensive list and other duties may be assigned.
- Manages the Talent Team of assigned location and ensures growing success through effective mentorship, recruiting and member engagement.
- Leads and motivates members through first-class pre-planned workouts that offer the ultimate S3 branded experiences by teaching 10+ permanent classes per week.
- Coordinates new instructor auditions and training as needed per discipline.
- Analyzes schedule and provides insightful input when it comes to class additions / removals and instructor changes to the corporate leadership team.
- Works with the corporate leadership team to ensure that the new instructor training program is supported and facilitated up to S3 standards, new trainees understand the brand, core values and program and are explained well throughout the training program.
- Engages with members while on-site during all check-ins and assists the talent team in building authentic connections.
- Delivers ongoing and balanced feedback to instructors and builds trust through regular class attendance and check-ins (minimum 2-3 classes per week).
- Manages class schedule to ensure accuracy.
- Inputs class themes weekly / monthly in the membership system.
- Oversees and approves subs using current sub management software.
- Develops strong local partnerships with like-minded businesses to build the member and employee perk program.
- Reviews instructor payroll to ensure accuracy each period.
- Conducts annual performance reviews for the Talent Team.
- Attends and plans events that help spread the awareness of Studio Three offerings through networking and promotion (booths, events, workshops, local conventions, etc).
- Partners with Studio Manager to coordinate and plan private or semi-private events.
- Maintains close communication with Director of Operations, Studio Manager and on-site staff to deliver the ultimate member experience.
- Is a dependable, responsible, optimistic member of the Talent Team consistently subbing when needed.
- Is a recognized fitness leader who mentors and nurtures instructors and shows continual interest in instructor development.
- Recruits and networks with absolute superstars who have the same passion for fitness that we do, sets an example of the core values of an S3 instructor and assists with the instructor pipeline.
- Maintain a consistent -Studio Three social media presence in line with Company’s social media guidelines- as well as set a leading example for instructors to succeed on this basis.
- Inspire team members and clients both in and outside of the studio, by living their instructor mission and tying it into the S3 brand.
- Cultivates a positive, inclusive team culture and environment.
- Brings a members first approach to all aspects of the Studio Three experience.
- Partners with the Studio Manager to help build membership within Studio Three.
