The City of Pearland, TX is hiring passionate and dedicated full-time Firefighters / EMTs (Paramedic preferred) to enhance and lead key aspects of our Fire Department's daily operations. Eligible Candidates include :

Firefighter / EMT (Paramedic Preferred) earns a competitive hourly rate of $25.27-$26.03 based on average 2912 hours (depending on qualifications) and can potentially earn 8-hours of overtime for 18 cycles per year. Additionally, the city pays all premiums for our employees' dental, long-term disability protection, and life insurance plus the majority portion of the medical premium for employees and their dependents. We also offer a retirement plan through the Texas Municipal Retirement System (TMRS) with a 2 : 1 employer match, life insurance, disability, access to the city's recreation fitness center, employee assistance program, educational assistance, 11 paid holidays and 1 designated paid holiday (24 hours), paid vacation, sick leave , and an active wellness program focusing on physical, mental, and financial health.
