Entry-Level Accountant

We are looking for a motivated Entry-Level Accountant to join our team in Teaneck, New Jersey. This is a long-term contract position offering a valuable opportunity to gain experience in accounting. Responsibilities :

• Perform accurate data entry and maintain financial records related to accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
• Assist in preparing accounting entries and maintaining general ledger accounts.
• Support cost accounting activities to track and analyze project expenses.
• Utilize pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions to manage and analyze financial data.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Provide insights and reports to assist management in decision-making.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of financial transactions.
• Assist in auditing processes as needed.
