With rapid adoption, global expansion, and highly specialized logistics for a growing portfolio of devices, we are looking for a full-time PCB Artwork Engineer to help design, control, and optimize the embedded intelligence that powers our next-generation platforms.

Position Summary

The PCB Architect at ELIXIR MD will be responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of printed circuit boards (PCBs) that power ELIXIR MD’s advanced medical devices responsible for creating, optimizing, and maintaining PCB layouts that support ELIXIR’s medical device platforms. The role requires close collaboration with electrical, firmware, and mechanical engineers to ensure that PCB designs meet electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance requirements, as well as regulatory and manufacturability standards. The engineer will manage ECAD data, generate fabrication and assembly outputs, and contribute to supplier coordination for prototype and production builds

Key Responsibilities

• Design, layout, and document complex printed circuit boards (PCBs)
• Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and firmware engineers to ensure optimal board architecture and integration.
• Manage component selection, placement, routing, and layer stack-up to achieve performance, cost, and manufacturability goals.
• Conduct design and schematic reviews, signal integrity analysis, and verification testing to ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Ensure all PCB designs meet FDA, ISO 13485, and EMC / EMI compliance requirements.
• Develop and maintain design documentation, including schematics, fabrication drawings, Gerber files, and Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Interface with PCB fabricators, assemblers, and vendors to address design issues, improve manufacturability, and optimize yield.
