As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and create a welcoming environment for staff, patients, and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain highly visible, and provide exceptional customer service and communication, all while embodying Allied Universal's values of teamwork, integrity, and putting people first.

What You'll Do :
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare environment.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with de-escalation and reporting as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain an orderly environment.
Document observations and occurrences, completing detailed reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
Communicate and collaborate with staff, patients, and visitors to provide assistance and information related to security-related matters.
Support Allied Universal and healthcare facility policies by maintaining a visible presence and addressing security-related issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements :
Vaccines required for hospital positions.
Ability to restrain individuals in a hospital setting required.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
