Salary Range : $130,000 - $160,000

Travel : Up to 25% across U.S. manufacturing sites

A leading manufacturer in the industrial machinery space is seeking a Purchasing Manager to lead and transform the plant-level purchasing function across multiple U.S. sites. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on standardizing processes, improving performance, and aligning operational execution with corporate sourcing strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a distributed team of plant buyers across multiple manufacturing locations
• Standardize purchasing processes, tools, and templates to drive consistency and efficiency
• Improve procurement KPIs including supplier on-time delivery, pricing compliance, PO execution, and responsiveness
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Planning, and Strategic Sourcing teams
• Leverage SAP and procurement analytics to drive data-informed decisions
• Support a center-led procurement model and strategic sourcing initiatives
• Ensure accurate procurement master data and governance across sites
• Provide regular reporting on purchasing performance to senior leadership
