We are a large Endodontist Group looking for a dental assistant in our Hawthorne office. The position is full time 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm Monday, Tuesday, Friday and 8 : 30am-2 : 30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Computer experience required and any experience working with Eaglesoft or other Dental Program would be extremely helpful.
Dental Assistant Responsibilities :
- Preparing patients for Root Canal Treatment.
- Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.
- Assisting dentists in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.
- Assisting Doctor with Root Canal procedures.
- Providing great patient care.
- Recording treatment information in patient records.
- Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.
- Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Caring for dental equipment.
- Ordering dental supplies and maintaining dental equipment inventory.
Dental Assistant Requirements
Job Type : Full-time
Salary : $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
