Overview

This position leads support for software and hardware infrastructure related to database technologies at a high level of complexity. Supports database infrastructure for the Bank's sales, service, and corporate support applications through expertise and daily performance monitoring. Implements, upgrades, and tests technical systems. Resolves escalated technical issues reported by users or system alerts. Drives operational excellence and systems efficiency, providing continuous service both through daily activities and through on-call rotation for after hours support. Implements disaster recovery testing and may provide oversight to technical associates or projects.

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and maintain data replication strategies using Qlik replicate across Hybrid environments (AWS, On-prem, and mainframe).

Experience with Qlik Cloud and migration from on-prem Qlik replicate to the cloud.

Design, implement, and support the QLIK ARC(Attunity Replicate Connect) solution. Manage Mainframe replication support with Qlik.

Solid understanding for batch and real-time replication.

Lite ETL for replication and support

Support Monitor and tune performance of databases, replication tasks, and reporting services.

Develop and maintain documentation related to database architecture, configurations, and processes.

Lead troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for data and replication related issues.

Participate in upgrades, patching and migrations with the replication tools (Qlik, Golden Gate)

Work closely with data governance, security and compliance teams to ensure data protection and regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with business and technical teams using Qlik replication, light ETL and CDC processes.

This position's responsibilities include daily production support for our database replication environments (Qlik replicate ), Server database administration. The position includes the design, configuration and support in all aspects of our environment for both on-prem and in the cloud.

This position is also responsible for maintaining and managing the standards, documentation, backup and recovery, design and implementation of the physical data storage, virtualization of databases, maintenance, patching, installation, capacity planning, access, security administration (vulnerability assessment and protection of data), performance and availability, data integrity, support of the BI infrastructure technology, and troubleshooting of all assigned database issues.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Database Engineering OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in Database Engineering

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience with Oracle Golden Gate replication(23AI preferred)

Experiences with Oracle Veridata comparison tool a plus

Experience with Tableau, QlikView, and PowerBi.

Experience with virtualized databases on VMWare.

Experience with Service NOW and ITIL processes.

Experience with SDLC processes.

Certifications a plus.
