About the team and position

Join the Engineering Database team, a vital part of Carvana.com . Be part of a team that guides the development of scalable, reliable, and efficient data-driven applications, ensuring accurate and timely analytics and business process development. We're disrupting the car buying status quo, and you can be a part of that, making an immediate and significant impact on peoples car buying experience.

We're searching for a talented and professionally curious individual ready to make a significant impact by driving the evolution of our cloud-based data infrastructure. You'll apply your strong foundation in T-SQL (preferably Azure) to build and optimize database objects, author complex stored procedures, functions, and triggers that power Carvana.com applications. Your primary focus will be at the forefront of cloud administration for our SQL and Elastic environments, where you'll be instrumental in building and maintaining scalable and reliable data solutions. Experience with ETL processes (Databricks or SSIS is a definite plus) is highly valued as we continuously enhance our data pipelines and push the boundaries of what's possible.
