Zions Bancorporation is currently looking for an experienced Data Scientist to join our Enterprise Data Science team. This role focuses on delivering insight from data that is actionable and will drive revenue growth, cost reduction, and meet new regulatory requirements. The team works on strategic projects with tactical components that aim to drive all business decisions to be data driven.
The Data Scientist will be responsible for end-to-end AI / ML projects, including :
- Understanding business objectives and translating them into data-driven solutions
- Discovering, cleaning, and transforming large-scale structured and unstructured data
- Designing, training, and validating machine learning and deep learning models
- Performing advanced statistical and predictive analyses to generate actionable insights
- Implementing Generative AI and LLM-based solutions where applicable
- Designing, developing, and maintaining production-grade ML pipelines and AI applications using MLOps best practices (CI / CD, model monitoring, retraining)
- Leveraging cloud platforms (GCP Vertex AI preferred, AWS, Azure) for scalable model deployment and orchestration
- Ensuring model performance, reliability, and compliance in production environments
