Focus :
Support the legal team by assisting with the supervision and management of family law litigation, helping to develop and implement comprehensive legal strategies. Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, legal secretaries, legal assistants, and the billing department to ensure effective case progression and smooth operations. Engage in various stages of case management, from initiation through resolution, aiding in the administration of legal processes to meet client goals. Ensure that all legal documentation and proceedings adhere to relevant laws and ethical standards.
Skill Set :
A paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program or qualifications under Business & Professional Code §6450. Minimum of 3 years of experience in family law support, with a proven track record in case management and administrative success.
Efficient management of billable hours, ensuring accuracy and accountability in timekeeping. Strong ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team, contributing to effective teamwork and enhancing performance throughout legal proceedings. Excellent organizational skills, capable of handling high caseloads and prioritizing tasks effectively under tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, adept at document preparation and supporting negotiation processes while handling confidential matters discreetly
