Safely direct traffic around utility work zones using hand signals, signs, and communication devices. Set up, maintain, and remove traffic control equipment including cones, signage, and barricades. Monitor traffic patterns and adjust controls to maintain safety and minimize disruptions. Communicate effectively with team members and the public to provide clear instructions and updates.

Strong communication and situational awareness skills. Ability to stand for 8+ hours daily. Ability to work in various weather conditions and stand for extended periods.

All candidates must be willing to work in the outdoors, taking into consideration all weather conditions and standing for at least 8 hours / day with minimal breaks. Employees will be flagging for utility work zones, including streets, sidewalks, and rights-of-way. You will be exposed to traffic, noise, and varying weather conditions. Candidates must have reliable transportation to commute to and from the jobsite locations, which can be up to an hour from their home location.

This is a permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. The pay range for this position is $34320.00 / yr. Candidates will have access to exceptional benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, 401k plans, job security, etc. Earn a $0.50 raise every six months, recognizing your dedication and reliability. After 3 months of employment, qualified team members may be eligible for a company take-home vehicle, adding convenience and saving on commuting costs.
