Are you self-motivated, team player and organized? If these are qualities you have answered YES to then we have a great opportunity for you. Working for CBG Surveying as a CAD Technician / Land Surveying!! This is an in-house position in Garland, TX.
Description
- Understand and use company established standards for drafting assignments.
- Record survey measurements and descriptive data using notes, drawings, sketches, and inked tracings.
- Compare survey computations with applicable standards to determine adequacy of data. Responsible for office calculations from construction plans for field layout and preparation of cut sheets and point lists.
- Collect information needed to carry out new surveys using source maps, previous survey data, photographs, computer records and other relevant information.
- Operate and manage land information computer systems, performing tasks such as storing data, making inquiries and producing plots and reports.
- Responsible for the correctness of the survey that meets CBG standards.
