BVA is addressing a central challenge faced by many developing biotech companies. While biotech company founders relentlessly chase scientific breakthroughs from pre-clinical to phase 1, phase 2 and beyond, they are often stretched to tackle the many commercialization or business development questions that must be addressed to maximize value at the developing enterprise. It may be too early to hire a Chief Commercial Officer or a Head of Business / Corporate Development, yet the development strategy, financing efforts and business development activities require expert assessment of the present and future commercial landscape.
Our team of experts is ready to help across the full spectrum of commercial and business development activity : product and indication valuation; commercial analytics and forecasting; marketing strategy & tactics; pricing & market access; sales force strategy including territory targeting, sizing and outsourcing assessment; commercial operations, including start-up, state licensing and government contracting; manufacturing, distribution and supply chain; commercial partnership, business development, M&A, financing advice and strategy; advice to boards assessing strategic options; and investor and public relations.
About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Analyst to support strategic M&A, partnering, competitive intelligence, and transaction execution activities across our biotech portfolio. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience in biotech, life sciences consulting, investment banking, or equity research, with exceptional financial modeling, research and presentation development skills.
