The Broadcast Team Member will be responsible for supporting the Audio and Visual Set-up for Intuit Dome. This includes technical implementation and maintenance for Audio and Video Equipment, routing audio and video signal, as well as assistance in overseeing and maintaining internal and 3rd party events and IPTV distribution.

This is a part-time role based in Inglewood, CA and is not eligible for benefits. Due to the nature of this industry, the candidate must be available to work a flexible schedule including weeknights, weekends, and holidays to cover high profile concerts, NBA games, and special events.

What You Will Do

Set up and maintain audio and video equipment for private events
Understand basic audio and video signal flow for audio / video equipment
Assist in preventative maintenance and / or troubleshooting on all broadcast devices
Understand how to operate a small mixing console
Ensure that audio and video needs are executed with the utmost professional attitude
Interact with clients and production crews to ensure successful events
Work closely with the Manager of Broadcast and the Video Engineer to set up for events
Work with our IPTV team, assisting with audio / video routing systems such as Crestron and Q-Sys

Your Background, Skills and Qualifications

Technical Degree equivalent or actively pursuing a degree in audio and video

Experience in the live events or sports / broadcast entertainment field

Ability to learn new technical systems and read and understand technical materials

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with the Broadcast team, other departments, and clients

Self-starter, able to work efficiently and independently

Strong time management with the ability to set priorities under pressure of deadlines

Must be flexible to accommodate shift changes, including extended hours, weekends, evenings, and holidays

Ability to learn, contribute and thrive in a fast-growing, dynamic environment

Demonstrated ability to communicate and positively interact in a diverse multi-cultural environment

Special Requirements of the Job

This position requires frequent bending, ability to move and lift up to 50 pounds, standing for long periods of time, exposure to multiple external elements, and extensive walking and climbing stairs through the building.

About Intuit Dome :

Opened in August 2024, Intuit Dome is the new home of the LA Clippers and will host hundreds of sporting events and concerts each year. Located in Inglewood, Calif., Intuit Dome is built different it will redefine fans' expectations for live experiences and change the music landscape in Los Angeles.

Set to host the 2026 NBA All-Star game and Olympic Basketball in 2028, Intuit Dome is over 1 million square feet and features our team training center, business operations offices, five full-sized basketball courts, an 80,000 square foot outdoor plaza and a double-sided Halo Board composed of more than an acre of LED.

Compensation

$21.00 per hour.

The role is classified as part-time, non-exempt position.
