Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operation of a backhoe in the terminal.
  • Obtains instructions regarding discharge or loading plan.
  • Communicates verbally regarding discharge and loading operations with immediate supervisor.
  • The dashboard is equipped with running light buttons.
  • Must be able to turn head toward the rear when in reverse.
  • Must wear a seatbelt at all times.
  • Experience with the following equipment preferred : front-end loaders, excavators, and skid steers.

    • Required Safety Gear must be worn at all times to include :

  • Safety vest, safety glasses, steeled-toe shoes, and hard hats must be worn on the terminal or in the yard.
