Duties & Responsibilities :

Summary

The Technician 2 is responsible for operating all equipment in a clean room environment to produce high quality interference filters on time at a reasonable cost. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, working knowledge of computers, and basic math skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably one that operates 24 hours per day.

Responsibilities

Operate production line equipment

Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process

Assist other departments as needed

Train new employees as necessary

Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to ensure efficient use of resources to meet production goals

Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing tasks in a timely manner

Follow standard procedures and work instructions

Comply with safety regulations and wear required personal protective equipment

Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements :

Qualifications

Ability to read, write, and speak English

High school diploma or equivalent

Previous experience in a manufacturing environment preferred

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Basic math skills

Strong organizational and communication skills

Detail oriented

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb stairs and ladders, and bend over repeatedly

Available to work any shift, including weekends
