Need Painter Helper to assist Paint Team with painting various metal & wood parts in accordance with quality standards for sign manufacturer in Lake Elsinore, CA. Duties include : Daily stretching with flash meetings over work agenda for day; Checking document proof for manufacturing accuracy before painting, then sanding & prepping piece for painting; Preparing, sanding, & masking exterior surfaces that may be constructed of wood or metal; Priming & completing to finished surface; Maintaining responsibility for daily cleaning & care of tools & equipment used in texturizing & spraying with warm soapy water, mineral spirits, or other appropriate cleaning solutions; Storing all equipment in proper areas; Selecting type of primer requirements, paint (exterior or interior), & correct color to be used; Matching existing color & texture, if necessary; Gathering proper equipment for job to be performed & for efficient completion of tasks such as : drop cloths, ladders, handle extensions, respirator, paint brushes, paint rollers, & sandpaper; Setting up spray-gun equipment; Applying various types of paint (oil, epoxy, water, rubber, vinyl, or cement-based), primers, or sealers by following item instructions on proofs; Repairing damaged items & finishes with joint compound, grout, sealers, using products specific to trade; Cleaning all equipment including brushes & spray gun; Cleaning work area at end of shift. Mon-Fri / 7 : 30am-4 : 00pm with possible OT. Wage : $17.00-$22.00 hr. (#5.0725.119 – Wildomar)
