Introduction Our client is a busy small animal hospital in Omaha, Nebraska, hiring for an Associate Veterinarian to join their thriving team. Working Hours / Rota The hospital is open Monday through Friday from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM and Saturdays from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM. The position offers flexible scheduling options with no Sunday hours required. Both full-time and part-time applicants are welcome. Role Description and Responsibilities The veterinarian will be responsible for a broad range of clinical duties, including examining patients, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, performing surgeries, providing dental care, operating diagnostic equipment, advising clients on preventive care and treatments, prescribing medications, and collaborating with the team to ensure high-quality care. The position is open to both experienced veterinarians and new graduates, with strong mentorship available. Practice Details The hospital is well-equipped with modern diagnostic and treatment tools, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, dental equipment, and surgical facilities. The practice also offers specialized services such as acupuncture.
