Medica is seeking a hands-on AI Platform Engineer to help build and scale our next-generation AI agents and infrastructure. You'll work on complex systems that power AI-driven healthcare solutions - for our members, providers and employees, that improve the healthcare experience end-to-end. This role is ideal for hands on builders who thrive on ownership, love solving technical and business problems, and are on the cutting edge of software. Performs other duties as assigned.
Key Accountabilities
- Assist in designing, implementing and deploying AI pipelines and systems-from evaluation setup and benchmarking to integration with products. Focus on building reliable, observable and safe components
- Collaborate on prototyping and building production grade AI-powered features and consumer-facing systems. Contribute to solving healthcare and technical challenges by applying modern AI tools and frameworks
- Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to code reviews. Learn and apply engineering best practices, and support platform development through clean, maintainable code
- Stay current with AI tends and tools. Explore new approaches and share learnings with the team. Support adoption of promising technologies that enhance platform and enterprise capabilities

This position is an Office role, which requires an employee to work onsite at our Minnetonka, MN office, on average, 3 days per week.
The full salary grade for this position is $98,400 - $168,600. While the full salary grade is provided, the typical hiring salary range for this role is expected to be between $98,400 - $147,525. Annual salary range placement will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, education, work experience, applicable certifications and / or licensure, the position's scope and responsibility, internal pay equity and external market salary data. In addition to base compensation, this position may be eligible for incentive plan compensation in addition to base salary.
