Our fast paced and rapidly expanding hospital is equipped with state of the art in-house laboratories, digital (full body, dental, ultrasound and endoscopy) imaging, in addition to our Orthopedic Surgery and Rehabilitation Center which includes both laser and water treadmill therapy.
Position : Veterinary Technicians, RVTS are encouraged to apply
Experience : Minimum of 4 years of experience and 2 years of emergency and critical case situations.
Responsibilities for Veterinary Technician :
Responsible for but not limited to cleaning and sanitizing various areas of the hospital, including examination rooms, surgical suites, treatment areas, kennels, and equipment. Perform thorough examinations, diagnostics, administer medications, vaccinations, and perform various medical procedures and treatments under the supervision of our skilled Veterinarians. Assist with surgeries and monitor patients during anesthesia and recovery. Educate and communicate with pet owners regarding Treatment Plans, Preventive Care, Post Treatment Care and General Animal Health while adhering to established protocols, safety guidelines and regulations as required by law.
Requirement For Veterinary Technicians :
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Authorized to work in the USA.
High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience as a Veterinary Technician and 2 years of emergency and critical case situations.
- Experienced in but not limited to laboratory procedures and diagnostic techniques.
- Strong knowledge of veterinary medicine, animal handling, and anesthesia protocols.
- Technicians are required to know how to draw blood and administer catheters.
- Working knowledge of medical equipment but not limited to Stethoscope, EKG Monitoring Systems, Digital Full Body and Dental Xray Systems, Ultrasound Systems, Blood Diagnostic Systems)
