We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Admissions Coordinator to join our team at a treatment center specializing in mental health and addiction medicine. The Admissions Coordinator will play a critical role in welcoming new patients and guiding them through the admissions process, ensuring they feel supported and informed as they begin their recovery journey. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of mental health and addiction services, and a genuine desire to help individuals and families in need.
Key Responsibilities :
Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective patients and their families, providing accurate and empathetic information about the admissions process and treatment programs.
Coordinate admission dates and ensure all required documentation is completed prior to arrival.
Provide emotional support and reassurance to prospective patients and their families during the admission process.
Accurately record and maintain detailed patient records in the admissions database.
Represent the treatment center professionally to external referral sources, community organizations, and potential patients.
