Accounting Clerk
We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team in Salinas, California. In this long-term contract role, you will play a vital part in supporting the accounting department and ensuring the accuracy of financial records. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong foundation in accounting practices and administrative tasks.
Responsibilities :
Process invoices and manage accounts payable functions to ensure timely and accurate payments.
Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
Handle data entry tasks with precision and attention to detail.
Provide excellent customer service and address inquiries related to accounting processes.
Assist with general accounting tasks and administrative duties within the office.
Prepare journal entries and ensure proper documentation.
Support various financial and administrative projects as assigned.
Requirements :
At least 1 year of experience in accounting or administrative roles.
Proficiency in accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes.
Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software.
Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to process invoices accurately and efficiently.
Excellent organizational and communication abilities.
Basic computer skills and a willingness to learn new systems.
