What You'll Do (and Love Doing!)

  • Lead and inspire our accounting team, guiding them in financial reporting, billing, collections, payroll, and budget preparation.
  • Recruit, hire, and mentor talented accounting professionals-helping them grow right along with you.
  • Build and improve processes with solid internal controls and smart financial strategies.
  • Oversee financial reports and ensure accuracy in compliance with GAAP and industry standards.
  • Drive tax planning strategies throughout the year (so there are no surprises).
  • Partner with outside auditors and lead smooth, successful audit processes.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to leadership on how to fuel growth and strengthen the company's future.
  • Deliver impactful financial analysis, especially around investments and big-picture opportunities.
  • Keep us compliant with all local, state, and federal regulations (because you're that good).
  • Be a culture-builder-creating a positive, collaborative environment where people love to work.

What Makes You a Perfect Fit

  • You're a natural leader with excellent management and supervisory skills.

  • You're tech-savvy, with skills in NetSuite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • You bring sharp financial analysis skills and a strategic mindset to every project.
  • This is an in-person office position. Candidates must live in or be willing to relocate to Amarillo, TX, or within a 30-mile radius.

    • Your Background

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required, relevant work experience will also be considered.
  • At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with 2+ years leading a team.
