job_description.job_card.job_descriptionResearch and apply relevant accounting standards to revenue recognition, lease accounting, stock-based compensation, and complex transactions. Document and implement new accounting pronouncements. Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in the preparation and review of financial reporting to management and stakeholders. Provide insightful variance analyses and financial commentary. Assist in the budgeting and forecasting processes. Support the external audit process. Assist with developing, maintaining, and improving internal controls over financial reporting. Support the company’s preparation for internal controls audit readiness. Collaborate with FP&A and non-finance business units to establish and improve processes, and ensure accurate and timely financial information. Supervise and mentor accounting staff. Foster a collaborative and efficient team environment. Provide training and support to team members. Assist with budgeting and forecasting. Support special projects as needed. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA preferred. Minimum five years of progressive accounting experience, with public accounting and / or public company experience. Proven track record of working with business-facing (i.e., non-finance) personnel to achieve successful outcomes. Familiarity with public company reporting, documentation and audit requirements. Proven experience performing technical accounting research and applying such concepts to complex transactions and fact patterns. Strong understanding of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, and internal control over financial reporting. Strong leadership and time management, as well as personnel mentoring and development skills. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Strong Excel skills. Public accounting (particularly Big 4 accounting firm) experience. Experience with manufacturing industry accounting. Masters degree in accounting or related business field.

This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage a diverse accounting skill set, encompassing full-cycle GL management, technical accounting, and financial reporting. This role will report to the Director of Accounting.
Responsibilities :
General Ledger Management :
- Assist with overseeing and managing the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial analyses.
