Job Description

  • Oversee daily accounting operations including GL maintenance, journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes in compliance with US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reporting packages; provide variance analysis and insights for management.
  • Handle sales tax, use tax, property tax, business licenses, and other compliance requirements.
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls, documenting policies and ensuring audit readiness.
  • Support treasury operations, including bank reconciliations and cash forecasting.
  • Maintain fixed asset ledgers and ensure proper depreciation practices.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and operations teams on budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
  • Manage SAP transactions, supplier approvals, and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Support ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred).
  • 6-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in mid-sized or high-growth consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS; experience with financial statements and audit support.
  • Proficiency in SAP and advanced Excel skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; capable of presenting complex information clearly.
  • Experience leading teams, streamlining operations, and fostering a culture of operational excellence.
