Job Details

Responsibilities :

Perform installation, inspection, testing, and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems on rail vehicles and related equipment.

Diagnose and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues in the field.

Work from blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to ensure accurate repairs.

Support system upgrades, retrofits, and testing of new components.

Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement continuous improvement measures.

Maintain documentation for service reports, repair logs, and technical findings.

Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications :

3+ years of hands-on experience in field service, maintenance, or mechanical / electrical troubleshooting (rail, heavy equipment, aerospace, or industrial equipment preferred).

Strong working knowledge of electrical circuits, 480V systems, PLCs, sensors, and control panels.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics.

Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems a plus.

Must be comfortable working in a shop and field environment, occasionally outdoors.

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
