Junior Accountant

We are seeking a dedicated Junior Accountant to provide insightful financial analysis and support to the operations team. This role involves preparing and analyzing key financial costs and metrics to facilitate better business decisions across all departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and post journal entries to the general ledger.
• Conduct journal entries and analysis of key financial costs and metrics.
• Collaborate with all departments to analyze costs and drive continuous improvements.
• Participate in month-end close activities, including account reconciliations and preparation of financial reports.
• Manage fixed asset and capital project financials.
• Assist in corporate, tax, and divisional reporting.
• Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation of accounting procedures and internal controls.

Work Environment

The role is based onsite at a manufacturing plant within an office environment. The position requires flexibility to work overtime and occasional travel. Dress code is business casual.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Memphis, Tennessee.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $80000.00 / yr. Company Benefits : 401 matching, profit sharing, stock option plan.
