Account Manager
Essential Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values
- Serves as the day-to-day contact for all client requests within a book of business (primarily Mid-Market accounts and possibly some Emerging or Large accounts) with direction from the Producer, Account Executive, or Team Leader and prepares (or delegates where applicable) all relevant renewal materials (Premium & loss summary, exposures, coverage comparison, premium & rate, etc.)
- Partners with Producer or Account Executive on new client onboarding, client interactions, negotiations, technical analysis, and program design
- Demonstrates ability to anticipate problems through client or underwriter communications or industry changes
- Creates the marketing submission and manages ongoing negotiation with carriers
- Receives, reviews, and processes quotes, policies and endorsements, delegating tasks as appropriate.
- Performs premium allocations, surplus lines template preparation, Certificate of Insurance request template preparation & master approval, on-demand certificates, basic contract reviews, accounting and invoicing support and resolution, and audits on expired and / or non-renewed policies
