CRST Capacity Solutions team strives every day to deliver reliable, efficient solutions with competitive rates, customer-focused service and advanced tracking systems. From long-haul and drayage to short-haul and time-sensitive freight augmented by a North American carrier network and power-only capabilities we work relentlessly to ensure freight moves fast, even during surges or unexpected hurdles.
The Role The Account Manager I oversees customer freight coordination and engagement to ensure service excellence and operational accuracy. This role drives business growth by building strategic relationships, analyzing performance data and identifying enterprise-wide opportunities.
Shift : Mon - Fri 9 am - 6 pm. Schedule may vary at the beginning for training and onboarding.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Freight Coordination Manage all aspects of customer freight by understanding shipping needs and service expectations
- Relationship Management Build and maintain long-term partnerships with customers to support business growth
- Performance Tracking Monitor and reconcile customer scorecards to ensure service alignment and operational accuracy
- Customer Engagement Communicate consistently with customers to identify and pursue appropriate freight opportunities
- Data Analysis Interpret customer data and trends to inform strategic decisions and service improvements
- Pricing Strategy Provide spot quotes for ad hoc freight requests to meet customer needs and market conditions
- Business Development Identify and pursue growth opportunities across the entire CRST Enterprise to expand customer value
- Carrier Sales - Communicate with carriers in our network to cover freight
- Accountability & Reliability Maintain regular and reliable attendance while performing other duties as assigned to support team and business needs
