Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re hiring a 3D Animator for a remote opportunity based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This is a freelance assignment supporting a global industrial equipment manufacturer.

In this role, you will create a photorealistic 90-second product animation showcasing complex machinery. The animation will support the client’s marketing and storytelling efforts and must align with existing brand and visual standards. The final deliverable will be a fully rendered 3D animation with no text or voiceover, along with all working files for post-production use.

There is no application deadline for this role.

3D Animator Responsibilities :

Create a high-quality 3D product animation (approx. 90 seconds) with mechanical accuracy and realistic rendering.

Collaborate with the client’s marketing and communications team for creative alignment and milestone approvals.

Utilize existing CAD files and / or create new 3D assets as needed.

Deliver final video and working files in standard formats.

Manage feedback and revisions efficiently to meet project timelines.

3D Animator Qualifications :

Proven experience in 3D animation and rendering for industrial or mechanical products.

Proficiency in Autodesk Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, or Cinema 4D with rendering expertise in V-Ray, Arnold, or Redshift.

Ability to generate assets from CAD or engineering files.

Strong understanding of lighting, texturing, and material realism.

Ability to interpret technical scripts and collaborate with marketing stakeholders.

Excellent time management and communication skills.

Prior experience producing animations for manufacturing or heavy equipment brands (preferred).

Comfortable working independently in a client-facing freelance environment.
